After becoming a Democrat, he stated that he was <a href="http://washingtonindependent.com/40891/specter-im-opposed-to-dawn-johnsen" rel="nofollow" rel="nofollow">opposed to Dawn Johnsen</a>. Knowing he has no plans to vote for Johnsen, he could still back a filibuster.
